Pam has been a Site Manager for J. Lewis Research, Inc. since 2001 and became the Vice President in 2015.  She manages up to three sites and works with the providers and clinic staff at each of the sites she manages. Pam had also worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator since 1988, where she began at the University of Utah’s Diagnostic Radiology Center and subsequently coordinated various aspects of medicine and nursing in ObGyn clinics, pain clinics, heart centers, urgent care facilities, and family practice clinics.

She got involved in research when she was a nurse helping a diagnostic radiologist at the University of Utah. She stayed in research because she really enjoyed working with the patient as well as the doctors and sponsors and felt like it was important to further the future of medicine by helping patients. She loved coordinating all the people involved in the patient care and helping the process of getting new medicines and procedures approved to help future patients.

Pam values that she has time to spend with patients and that she can follow their progress very closely. Pam thinks patients should get involved in research because they can learn a lot about their own health, as well as new drugs and treatments that will help them stay healthy.

Pam loves to do active things. Her favorite activities are running, skiing, hiking, and camping; she is also starting to bike. Pam has completed several marathons, but her claim to fame is running the Boston Marathon. Pam also loves to travel and her home away from home in Hawaii.
