In the past, pharmaceutical companies have only published summaries and journal articles about their clinical trials. Now GlaxoSmithKline has announced that they will release full clinical study reports for all of their drug trials, both those that have been discontinued and those that are approved. This decision was made in attempts to assist providers in making better decisions when prescribing medications, providing greater clarity with their clinical trials, and advancing medicine and medical breakthroughs.
