The FDA has approved 44 new drugs this year, an increase from the 41 approved in 2014. A recent article lists, in the author’s opinion, the 10 most significant drugs from the 44 new approvals. Selection was based upon either a drug’s benefit for patients or drugs highlighting trends within the pharmaceutical industry and where it may be headed.
