A list of gaps in breast cancer research was created by over 100 scientists and healthcare professionals. These gaps include determining lifestyle changes that could prevent breast cancer and new treatments for when breast cancer tumors spread to other parts of the body. An increase in funding is necessary in order for these gaps in research to be addressed.
