Dust Mite Allergy Study

By February 13, 2013 August 29th, 2013 No Comments

Are you sick of fighting allergy symptoms caused by dust mites?

You can’t escape dust mites, but you may be able to take part

in an investigational treatment study for the allergic reactions they cause.

See if you qualify for a local clinical trial

A new research study is being conducted for rhinitis (nasal congestion, runny nose, post-nasal drip, sneezing) or conjunctivitis (red, itchy, watery eyes) caused by dust mite allergies. The goal is to determine the effectiveness and safety of an investigational tablet that dissolves under the tongue.

If you are 12 or older, with or without asthma, and have been diagnosed for at least 1 year and taking allergy medications during the past year, you could be eligible to participate.

The clinical trial may last as long as 2 years, with up to 9 visits at a local clinic. All study-related office visits, medical exams and treatments will be provided at no cost.

If you’re tired of the sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose and more caused by dust mite allergies, we encourage you to visit the study website to learn more and to see if you qualify for the study.
