GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) will join Save the Children in order to fight the leading causes of childhood death worldwide. GSK will donate $23 million dollars during this 5-year partnership, the main goals being to increase access to medicine and treatment in order to prevent the deaths of infants and children. These include an antiseptic used to prevent infection in newborns and an antibiotic to treat pneumonia in children.
